About

About Shane M. Cook, CCIM — the Tie Dye Real Estate Guy

I started in Arizona real estate in 1997: commercial and residential listings and sales, land leases including U.S. Forest Service properties, property valuation, and due diligence on deals most agents never see.

I hold the CCIM designation — the commercial industry’s top credential — along with CIPS, GRI, ABR, RENE, SRES, AHWD, PSA, and ePro. I’m brokered by eXp Realty.

Outside the office, I’m into tie-dye, traveling with my family and friends, music, and community service — genuinely, not as a marketing gimmick. A few years ago I decided those two sides of my life didn’t need to stay separate, so this is the site where they don’t.

On the association side, I serve as the 2027 Arizona REALTORS® President. I have chaired the National Association of REALTORS®’ Consumer Communications Committee and its Leading Edge Advisory Board, and I serve NAR as the 2027 Vice Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, a committee I served on in both 2025 and 2026. I’ve held a number of other Arizona REALTORS® leadership roles, including President-Elect (2026), First Vice President (2025), and Treasurer (2024).

Most of my business comes from referrals — from other REALTORS® around the country who trust me with their clients’ commercial and residential real estate needs, and increasingly from attorneys and financial professionals who need a real estate specialist who actually understands complex, multi-asset portfolios, including the kind that show up in a divorce.
